WIPO National Awards for Enterprises and Inventors – 19th International Technology Transfer Conference (ITTC)
As part of the 19th International Technology Transfer Conference (19th ITTC), the following awards will be presented for the seventh consecutive year:
- WIPO National Award for Enterprises
The award recognizes the creative use of intellectual property in business processes, collaboration with public research organizations, the development of new products and/or services based on knowledge transfer and intellectual property, as well as other examples of good practices related to intellectual property (call requirements and application form).
- WIPO National Award for Innovators
The award recognizes patented innovative solutions developed by researchers from public research organizations that contribute to the economic development and prosperity of Slovenia (call requirements and application form).
Applications may be submitted until 4 September 2026. All applications will be evaluated by an international expert committee. The selected company and innovator will be announced on 7 October 2026 in Novo Mesto during the 19th ITTC, while the award ceremony will take place on 9 October 2026 at the Jožef Stefan Institute.
Since 2020, the award has been presented to eNeM New Materials Development Centre Ltd., GEM Motors Ltd., Elan Ltd., Krka, Inc., Novo Mesto, Hidria Ltd., Gorenje Home Appliances Ltd., and ReCatalyst Ltd.
At the same time, the following researchers have been recognized for their innovations: Prof. Dr. Alenka Vesel, Prof. Dr. Marta Klanjšek Gunde, Prof. Dr. Miran Mozetič, Prof. Dr. Denis Đonlagić, Prof. Dr. Gregor Primc, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Franc Majdič.
