Online Seminar: Od inovacije do pravic: izumi v delovnem razmerju

You are invited to attend the lecture Od inovacije do pravic: izumi v delovnem razmerju (From Innovation to Rights: Employee Inventions), which will take place online on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, at 10:00 AM.

The lecture will shed light on the legal framework governing inventions created within an employment relationship and the relationship between the inventor and the employer in accordance with applicable legislation. It will address questions such as when an invention qualifies as an employee invention, what the rights and obligations of both parties are, the procedure for reporting an invention, and the possibilities for its exploitation. Special emphasis will be placed on practical aspects and common dilemmas faced by employees, researchers, and employers.

Participation in the lecture is free of charge; however, registration is mandatory here.

The seminar will be held in Slovene.

The lecture will be delivered by Eva Gostiša, partner at Jadek & Pensa. Her work focuses primarily on intellectual property. In the field of trademarks and designs, she advises on protection and enforcement of rights, while in the area of patents she represents clients in litigation. She has also gained extensive experience in employee inventions, copyright law, and unfair competition, advising clients and representing them in related disputes.
