WIPO awards – 19th International Technology Transfer Conference (ITTC)

The WIPO National Award for Enterprises, presented by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), was awarded to CBD gradbeno in poslovno projektiranje d. o. o. in recognition of its successful collaboration with public research institutions and the development of innovative timber construction solutions protected by registered EU trademarks. We sincerely congratulate the company on receiving this award.

The WIPO National Award for Inventors, presented by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), was awarded to Dr Xuan Xu, Prof. Sašo Šturm, and Prof. Kristina Žužek, who developed and patented methods for recovering rare earth elements and reusable magnetic material from waste magnets. These technologies represent an important step towards more efficient resource use and a circular economy, enabling valuable materials to be recovered from waste streams. We sincerely congratulate the research team on receiving this award.
