The organizers of the 19th International Technology Transfer Conference (ITTC 2026) invite researchers and professionals in the fields of knowledge transfer, technology transfer, and intellectual property to submit papers for this year’s conference. The conference serves as an important international platform for sharing best practices, experiences, and innovative approaches to collaboration between academia and industry. Authors will have the opportunity to present their work to an international audience of experts and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and technology transfer.
Papers must be written in English and should not exceed four pages in length. All submissions will undergo peer review by experts in the fields of technology transfer and intellectual property. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN number, made freely available on the conference website, and presented as part of the conference program.
Paper presentations will be delivered in English and organized into thematic sessions. Each presentation, including discussion, will be allocated approximately seven minutes.

Papers may address, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- Institutional strategies, incentives, and policies for industry–researcher co-creation
- Entrepreneurial, leadership, and collaborative skills for knowledge valorization
- Networking, matchmaking, and long-term partnerships between industry and researchers
- Governance models, partnership agreements, and intellectual asset management
- Technology transfer offices, innovation intermediaries, and shared research infrastructures
- Spin-offs, start-ups, licensing, and market entry strategies
- Open innovation, co-development, and collaborative research models
- Impact assessment, self-evaluation, and metrics for knowledge valorization
- Institutional, national, and European support measures for innovation capacity building
- Societal engagement, responsible innovation, and public value creation
- Other topics related to knowledge and technology transfer, at the authors’ discretion

- 10 August 2026 – Early registration (including abstract submission)
- 17 August 2026 – Paper submission deadline
- 4 September 2026 – Notification of paper acceptance
- 21 September 2026 – Deadline for submission of revised papers
- 7 October 2026 – Conference presentations in Novo Mesto
