Online Presentation of the Dual-Use VEM contact point

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, in partnership with TECES, is organizing an online presentation of the Dual-Use VEM Contact Point for researchers on Tuesday, 25 August, at 10:00 a.m., as part of the Dual-Use Alliance.

The Dual-Use VEM Point serves as a national one-stop contact point, connecting companies, research organizations, and other stakeholders developing technologies, materials, and solutions with potential for both civilian and defence applications. It provides guidance on developing project ideas, identifying suitable funding opportunities, connecting with partners, and joining national and European consortia.

The event will cover:

• The importance and opportunities of the dual-use sector for research organizations,
• The services and support provided by the VEM Point,
• The process of developing and evaluating project ideas.

The presentation will also provide an opportunity to discuss potential cooperation with the VEM Point, participation in future activities of the Dual-Use Alliance, and the submission of concrete project ideas.
