From Data to Fields: How KIS and LoginEKO Are Shaping Sustainable Farming

In 2018, KIS began farming on more than 3,700 hectares with the goal of creating solutions for an easier transition to a sustainable food system. The state of technological development in agriculture and the opportunities brought by data-driven development motivated the creation of their own software.

During this time, LoginEKO software has become an indispensable tool for managing agricultural land. Together with the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia (KIS), they made a significant step forward by becoming their first external beta user, testing the software on their fields. Their feedback is crucial for further improvements and innovations, aiming to ensure the software’s effective operation beyond their own ecosystem. Once its efficiency is confirmed, it will be shared free of charge with other farmers.

The partnership with KIS is not limited to testing; it is a strategic transfer of knowledge and technologies. They combine cutting-edge technology with extensive agricultural expertise, which will contribute to the development of sustainable solutions and benefit both researchers and farmers.
