We are able to add some characteristics to cotton: superhydrophobic and oleophobic effect, while preserving breathability. Our cotton becomes a product with superpowers &#8211; we are introducing waterproof cotton, resistant to oil stains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-mediumlarge-font-size\"><strong>Description of invention<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The invention relates to the preparation of breathable superhydrophobic and oleophobic coating for cotton and cotton-polyester textiles that has inclined angle lower than 10\u030a even after ten washings. This is achieved with the preparation of micro and nano roughness and adding extra hidrofobic and oleofobic organic silan precursors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-mediumlarge-font-size\"><strong>Main advantages<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Natural fabric with additional properties: repels water and oil droplets<br>Washable &#8211; retains its properties even after many washes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Preparation of an air-stable superhydrophobic and oleophobic coating for cotton textiles, which maintains a contact angle below 10\u02da even after the tenth wash.
