Their work earned them the award for Best paper in the professional contributions section dedicated to technology transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The paper was presented at the conference by Vesna Punger\u010dar. It highlighted the importance of quality inspection in small-scale manufacturing, where manual approaches are time-consuming and can be significantly improved by combining artificial intelligence, robotics and 3D scanning. At the Rudolfovo Centre, the solution was developed in collaboration with the companies CNC Bor\u0161tnar d.o.o. and 3D-ING d.o.o., demonstrating good practice in cooperation between researchers and industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The presentation not only earned the award but also made a valuable contribution to the conference discussions, which focused on how to turn a research idea into a solution that meets the needs of businesses and can be put into practice.
