My first contact with the friendly team at the Knowledge Transfer Office was completely accidental and unexpected. Nevertheless, since then they have provided me with strong support both in promoting our innovations and in connecting with potential new partners. In my opinion, they are indispensable for researchers who are not skilled in business contacts and contract work (I undoubtedly count myself among them). Moreover, the encouragement and ideas from the Knowledge Transfer Office never seem to run out. Sometimes this pushed me out of my comfort zone, but on the other hand, it significantly improved the way I perceive and understand the world beyond the safety of the research laboratory.
